In the eight edition of the BBVA Open Talent competition, Sam Bouso’s Precognitive is making its mark as a finalist for the USA and rest of world region. On September 6th, he pitched Precognitive’s future-forward technology to BBVA executive experts at the New York City regional event, hoping to secure one of the two region’s winning prizes.
BBVA has held the worldwide Open Talent competition for eight years, looking for innovative technology to invest in that protects the Banking and FinTech industries. The winners, six total from three regions, will receive €30,000 ($33,705 USD) and a spot in a two-week immersion and interaction program in Mexico City and Madrid to grow their startup business.
Precognitive, founded earlier this year, stood out in the preliminary rounds with its all-encompassing technology that ensured the startup a spot on the list of 20 finalists in its region. The company provides multi-dimensional fraud prevention technology that combines device intelligence, advanced behavioral analytics, and a real-time decision engine to accurately detect and prevent fraud for online businesses. Precognitive’s future-forward, emerging technology outmaneuvers fraudsters, beating them at their own game through constant innovation. The BBVA Open Talent competition provides the opportunity for Precognitive to transform the fraud prevention industry with a preemptive fraud solution.
Winners will be announced on-site at the regional events.
